Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 Oct 2026.

Short version: gigfees (gigfees.com) is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no comments and no contact form, sets no cookies, and does not collect personal data. This page explains the few places where data is processed anyway, mostly by the company that hosts the site.

Calculator inputs stay in your browser

The rates, hours, fee percentages, payout method and tax rate you enter are processed by JavaScript running in your own browser. They are not sent to us or to anyone else, not stored in cookies or local storage, and not added to the page address. Reloading the page resets the calculator to its defaults.

Cookies and tracking

gigfees does not set cookies and does not run analytics, advertising, social-media widgets, tracking pixels or fingerprinting scripts. Pages load no third-party scripts or fonts; everything is served from gigfees.com itself.

Hosting: Cloudflare

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare’s network. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the technical information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser’s user-agent and the referring page. Cloudflare processes this to deliver the pages, keep the service running and protect it against abuse and attacks, and may keep it in its server logs. We do not receive a log of individual visitors and do not try to identify anyone from this data.

Cloudflare’s responses also ask your browser to report network errors back to Cloudflare (a standard called Network Error Logging) so it can detect connection problems. If Cloudflare’s security checks ever challenge a visitor as possibly automated, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie for that visitor. Neither is used bygigfees for tracking.

How Cloudflare handles this data is described in theCloudflare Privacy Policy.

If you email us

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if your email client includes it, and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix the issue you report, do not add you to any mailing list, and do not sell or share it. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time by writing to the same address.

Links to other sites

Every fee links to the official page it came from (Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com, PayPal, Payoneer, Wise and others). When you follow one of those links you leave gigfees, and that site’s own privacy policy and cookies apply. We do not control them.

Children

gigfees is meant for working freelancers and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Since the site collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect data from children; if a child has emailed us, ask us and we will delete the message.

Before any advertising or analytics is added

Today gigfees shows no ads and runs no analytics. If that ever changes, this policy will be updatedbefore any advertising or analytics code goes live, to name the providers, the cookies or identifiers they use, and how to opt out or give or refuse consent where the law requires it. The “last updated” date at the top will change when that happens.

Changes to this policy

When the way the site handles data changes, this page is updated and the “last updated” date at the top changes with it. The policy in force is always the one published here.
